Altar! My second image of my graphic novel anti-hero Altar. In this image he has a bow staff. Experimenting a bit with his weaponry. Really thought out his full outfit, armor, and coloring this time. Went for a way more slim elongated body rig this time. I think I like this style more than the bulky dudes I've been doing lately.
Draft 1: The rough gesture sketching.
Draft 2: The refining fat inking.
Draft 3: The refined inking.
Draft 4: Getting ready for the coloring, laying down the flats.
Draft 5: Working out the colors. The pants are a bit shiny, changed it in the later versions.
Draft 6: Worked on a "Post Apocalyptic" background painting. Threw in some bells and whistles, painted in his eyes, and finished the colors.
